Josera Mother&Puppy Salmon & Rice is the delicious food for pregnant or nursing dog mothers and their puppies. The rearing feed has a special, gluten-free recipe that provides the puppies with all the important nutrients while they are still in the womb and during the nursing period. This high-energy dog food also covers the special requirements of the bitch from the last third of pregnancy until the end of the suckling period. When the puppies are accustomed to solid food, the nutritious kibbles can be fed soaked in Josera puppy milk or water. This makes the transition easier for our little four-legged friends. The balanced recipe also promotes the optimal development of small four-legged friends. Our FamilyPlus is now called Mother&Puppy Salmon & Rice. Please note that the quantities stated are only guidelines and should be adapted depending on your pet's feeding requirements and activity level. Please make sure your pet has fresh water at all times. For lactating dogs: the requirement will depend on the number of puppies, the relevant stage of nursing, and the milk yield. The food can be provided without restriction (ad libitum) if required, especially for large litters or large breeds, or in case of insufficient weight gain. Depending on weight development, individual adjustments may be advisable. For pregnant dogs: please note that food requirements during the final trimester will depend on the size of the breed and the number of puppies. Due to the possibility of birthing difficulties and other issues, however, you should take care to avoid over-feeding during the lactation period. Nursing puppies: the recommended feed quantities stated are per animal, per day The specified feed quantities are based on the weight of the adult dog. Spread the food over several meals/day and offer it chopped and soaked with water (37°C) until the end of the 6th week of life. Dispose of any leftovers. The amount fed to the puppies depends on their age, the amount of milk produced by the mother, their nursing habits, and the individual development of the puppies.
