Linseed makes all the difference - because it provides the nutrients that have made Mash so popular with horses and riders for generations! Josera Mash Rapid is the tasty, beneficial mixture with an above-average 20% linseed content! The toasted linseed is pre-treated, so Josera Mash Rapid no longer needs to be cooked. When mixed with warm water, Josera Mash Rapid can be fed after only 15-20 minutes of swelling time (if cold water is used, the swelling time is extended by approx. 5-10 minutes).
The mucilage it contains protects the horse's intestinal wall and helps to keep it healthy. The bran supports the intestinal motor function and can thus help to prevent constipation. In addition, the natural mucilage has a prebiotic effect and can support a healthy gut flora. As Josera Mash Rapid is particularly tasty, it is also suitable as a build-up feed for heavy-fed horses or after situations of high stress (competition, transport, re-stabling, illness etc.).
The unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals ensure the best coat gloss, healthy skin and strong hooves. Josera Mash Rapid is therefore also ideal for use during moulting in spring and autumn. Due to its pulpy consistency, Josera Mash Rapid can be eaten easily by horses with dental and chewing problems.

Supplementary feed for horses

2-3 times a week depending on size of horse 0.5–1 kg as a supplement or to replace the usual manger ration. We recommend 100-200 g per 100 kg body weight. Preparation: e.g. mix 1 litre Josera Mash Rapid (Note: 1 litre Mash = 400 g) with 1-2 litre of warm water (50 °C), let swell for 15 - 20 minutes and feed at a lukewarm temperature. If necessary, it can also be mixed with cold water, which extends the swelling time by about 5 minutes. Directions for use: Due to the higher trace element content compared to complete feeds, this complementary horse feed may only be fed up to 43 % of the daily ration. Soak before feeding.
